The game that is supposedly going to sell the 360 to Japan, Ninety-Nine Nights has just been released as a demo in the land of Japan. It isn't available over Live..instead you have to go and preorder the game.

I've seen some footage of the game and let me say this: This may be the first game that I ever import from Japan..as long as it will work on my console. The gameplay looks amazing, it's everything that Dynasty Warriors has always wanted to be and more.

I've seen a number of gameplay videos and I am extremely impressed and while I doubt this game will be the killer app for the 360 in Japan, I think it's going to be one hell of a game. That said I did notice some flaws in the gameplay...first of all, I noticed some slowdown in the Combat. I'm sure this will be resolved by the time the final product is released though.

Here is my logic behind importing it: First of all, importing a game there is the language barrier. But, do I really care what is going on in this game? No. I just want to chop up a bunch of people. Second of all, I don't know when it is coming to the US as they haven't announced a date yet, and I don't feel like waiting. There aren't that many great 360 titles coming out in the near future so what the hell. Besides, I've never imported (a game) before so it would be fun.

If I do it, I'll let you know how it goes. I'm really seriously thinking about it too, this isn't one of my rampant tangents that I tend to go off on.
