Analyst Says 360 Leads Through 2007
Filed in archive News , Xbox 360 on January 24, 2006

Analysts have reported that they expect the Xbox 360 to hold the lead in the console war through 2007. However, in 2008, they expect Sony's PS3 to take control of the #1 spot. The analyst, Mike Wallace also suggested that there would be a slight growth in the gaming industry in 2006, expects there will be significant growth in 2007, and Double digit growth in 2008.
A lot of the time, analysts are pretty head on in their estimates. This seems a little out of whack though, especially when he says he expects to see the double digit growth in 2008. Personally, I think 2008 will be a down time for gaming- but that's probably why I'm writing on XboxSpace instead of working as an analyst.
