Beautiful Katamari Not a Downloadable Title

Last week the rumor that Beautiful Katamari would be a 360 exclusive started making the rounds and was shortly followed by another -- that Beautiful Katamari would be a downloadable title sold on the Live Marketplace. It makes sense, doesn't it? The game assets are fairly simple and would probably fit just fine on the 360 HDD. They might as well just make it a download title and save some trees, right?

Wrong -- it's going to come in a box, and that box is going to have a manual, and you're going to pay for it, damnit. Full price, too -- even if it's the last copy at EB, and the cashier gives you the disc that the employees were playing frisbee with earlier. Here's what Namco told Gamespot to say about the matter:
