Bomberman is about to make his Live Arcade debut -- there's a full-page advertisement in the latest issue of EGM for one "Bomberman Live" and a little Internet prodding revealed that the game already has an official website. According to Hudson, Bomberman Live takes "all the best parts of past Bomberman games" and tosses them into HD-sized arenas with up to 8-players in online matches (and 4-players in offline games.)

I've been playing a lot of Bomberman lately on my Wii (there's a TG-16 version on the Virtual Console) but the online play alone makes this an easy purchase. There's no word on a release date or price, yet -- but I think it's safe to assume that this will be an 800 MS Points title and with the advertisement running in this month's EGM that we'll see a release before July.
