This week's Live Arcade releases are completely forgettable and Microsoft feels so bad about that that they're giving away a good (dare I say, great?) game for free: Carcassone. Okay, so maybe it's part of their "Xbox Live Turns Five" promotions and not an apology for loosing shrek 'n Roll on the world. I'll take it either way.
As a gesture of thanks to the gaming community, all eight million members will have the opportunity to download a free Xbox LIVE Arcade game* between 12:01 a.m. PST on Nov. 15 and 11:59 p.m. PST on Nov. 16**.
* Free Xbox LIVE Arcade download includes "Hexic 2" in Korea, and "Carcassonne" in the rest of the world where Xbox LIVE is available
**Free download available for 48 hours starting at 12:01 a.m. PST on Nov. 15.
