Civilization will make its grand return to game consoles in Spring 2008 with the release of Civilization Revolution — a new entry in the classic series with gameplay specifically tuned for console gaming:

I spent hours in front of the TV with Civilization 2 for the PlayStation, and that was just a PC-port — I'm looking forward to seeing what a Civilization designed specifically for consoles turns out to be.
