Konami fans rejoice! The very essence of classic will be released on the XBLA this Wednesday, and for an extraordinarily reasonable price – only 400 MS Points.
The game will have the usual souped up graphics and will feature 12 achievements for you to unlock.
With Gears of War en route to your 360, it's gonna be cool to download this and then pop in GoW….It's amazing how far games have come since the mid eighties.

Enjoy enhanced artwork including rendered new bullet effects and explosions Perhaps because it is only 400 points, it will seem more worthy when stacked up against the week’s uber releases such as Gears of War, Call of Duty 3 and Tony Hawk’s Project 8. You know, I loved Contra back in the day, but after playing Gears of War, what desire would I ever have to shoot little pellets in the air again?
