I just got my hands on a retail copy of Dead Rising, a game that I've been wanting to try out for a long time. It's a lot of mindless fun, it really is - and I'd definitely recommend it....
....If it wasn't for one thing - Dead Rising has probably one of the worst save systems ever I've ever had the displeasure of using. I could probably name twenty SNES games with better save systems, games that about out about 12 years ago.
For those of you who don't know much about the game, here is a quick little run down of what how it works. You can only save in a bathroom or on a sofa. Both of which are pretty tough to find. You can only have one game per unit, which is flat out retarded.
I dunno, I'll probably write more on this later, but if you're considering buying this game just be warned that you're going be frustrated when you want to save your progress.
