It brings to mind such names a Cao Pi and Lu Bu. It also brings back memories of killing hundreds of thousands people on the battlefield. While the series has seen little innovation over the past few installments, it definitely has very loyal fans. Personally, I've never really, really loved the series but I'm always up for a good hack and slash.
The good news is that KOEI, Dynasty Warrior 5's developer, is releasing the game for an unheard of $39.99. No, that was not a typo. If you want a good reason to pick up DW:5, look no further than the price.
At this price, I'm definitely going to be picking this game up. It is set to release on March 28th.
