Ex-Saint's Row Devs Plan Pirates v. Ninjas Series
Filed in archive News on August 22, 2007
A new game development studio called Blazing Lizards (made up of ex-Saints Row developers) is planning a new series of downloadable titles about Pirates and their age-old enemies, the Ninja. The first game will pit the two foes in the most timeless of all arenas...the dodgeball court:Pirates vs. ninjas Dodgeball...will allow for up to eight players and offer five teams, including pirates and ninjas.
Blazing Lizard announced last week that it will specialize in family-friendly downloadable console games. Co-founder Chris Stockman told Next-Gen in an interview Wednesday, "...It's refreshing to work on a smaller scale game where there are less meetings, less bureaucracy, and more creative freedom to explore new gameplay ideas."
While Blazing Lizard didn't specifically name the consoles on which they plan to release PvN Dodgeball I'd say that the Live Arcade is a safe bet.
