Finding a 360: Step Two
Filed in archive Deals on February 11, 2006

This is one of the coolest apps I've used in a long time.
Called the Xbox 360 Inventory Tracker, it goes out and checks Best Buy and Circuit City's in-store inventories to see if they have any 360's in stock.
You enter your zip code and it searches for any stores even remotely near you...If it finds one, it can play a litle jingle...send you a text message, it will email you. This is by far the coolest way to find a 360, and you can save a boatload of money not purchasing a bundle over the internet. I've been watching it for about a day and I'm yet to have any luck.
But, I know it works because I decided to test it out by typing my zipcode as 90210 (its the only other zip code I know besides my own) and it found a 360 at a Best Buy in Beverly Hills, which was really cool.
Its malware free, so don't worry. You'll need Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 in order to run it, but damn...this is a sweet app.
Check it out, and props to untitled for making it.
