First Mass Effect Review: 9.75/10

The latest issue of Game Informer just landed in my mailbox and it just happens to contain the first public review of the upcoming Bioware sci-fi epic mass effect. The first raving review, that is:

Not since Star Wars made its theatrical debut in 1977 has there been a universe so full of wonder and awe...Just like that galaxy far, far away this game's accomplishments are as far reaching as they are revolutionary...It takes interactive storytelling to new heights, and brings the player closer to content than ever before. It's easily one of the year's best titles, and one of the most impressive games to date.

All that praise and Halo 3 still got game of the month. Maybe you could have spaced those two out a little, GI? The time-dilating effects of publishing aside I'm glad to see that Mass Effect may just be able to live up to all the hype it has had foisted upon it.
