GTA IV Hits 360 in October

The one advantage that the PS2 had over the Xbox last generation was the fact that GTA games would always arrive on Sony's console a good nine months before arriving on the Xbox.

Well, it's a new generation and the rules have changed. In October 2007, grand theft auto IV will be shipping for both the Xbox360 and the PS3.

There aren't many details on the game yet, such as the setting, the characters, online play, etc....but that will all come in due time, the important thing here is the fact that Rockstar is brining GTA to the X360 and PS3 on the same day!

I'm really interested to see how the game plays on one system versus another. I'm sure we'll find out at E3......2007.

Okay, I know October 2007 is a long ways off, but it's worth marking on your calendar.
