If you're unwilling or unable to buy a copy of Crackdown just to nab a Halo 3 beta spot, Microsoft has announced another set of hoop-jumps you can make to get yourself in on the action.

The "Rule of Three" method is simple enough: log at least three hours of halo 2 on Xbox Live and sign yourself up on Halo3.com before the end of the day on February 3rd. Don't dawdle, though: only the first 13,333 entries are guaranteed a spot.
