HD-DVD Drive Now $20 Cheaper
As part of their ploy to make you a pawn in their dumb corporate HD-slapfest Microsoft haslowered the price of the HD-DVD add-on for the Xbox 360 from $199 to $179. To make the deal even sweeter they're throwing in five free movies from Toshiba. And not just crap, either: you get to choose from great titles like...Seabiscuit? The dukes of hazzardlinks? Okay, so the movies are crap.

Stay strong, comrades - rent high-def movies from the Live Marketplace if you must but keep as far away from Blu-Ray and HD-DVD as you can until there's only one format left. Don't risk letting your movie collection become a coaster collection.
