HD-DVD in Japan on Nov 22?

Apparently, in a rumor posted on Kotaku....
The Xbox 360 HD DVD player will launch in Japan on November 22nd for 19,800 yen. That's about $168 dollars. Absolutely brilliant value.
Even better, the HD DVD drive will supposedly run at 1080p.
Nothing is official yet, but Kotaku doesn't Mess Around. I'd believe it.
