This week's Live Arcade release is Heavy Weapon, an arcadey shooter that puts you and your tiny tank up against an enemy army ground and air units. Heavy Weapon was developed by the ever-prolific PopCap Games, and if you're the impatient type you can download the PC version right now from their website.

We had a chance to play the game at a recent Microsoft press event and liked where the game is heading so far...With a cute cartoon look and responsive controls, as well as the ever-growing challenge of increasingly numerous and devious enemies, Heavy Weapon looks like it will be a fun download when it's released on Xbox Live Arcade.
