Every time I connect online to play online shooters I here at least a small amount of racism, but how can that be changed? The usual best case scenario is just one or two people screaming the 'N' word, but hearing full on religion wars and terrible racism is not an uncommon happening. Not to mention I hear an amazing amount of racism playing Red Dead Redemption in free mode, too many players take killing Mexican gangs extremely too seriously. Microsoft has proposed a solution to this dastardly problem that plagues Xbox Live. Microsoft's proposal was to monitor all chat on Xbox live and be able to edit out cuss words on the fly. As a writer I get a little bit antsy every time I hear applications of censorship today, but this seems like one instance where something has to be done to improve this "premium" service offered by Microsoft.
