Not that it's really a great game or anything, but there is an English language Chromehounds demo available on the Japanese Xbox Live Marketplace.
Here's how you can go about playing it:
1- Create a Japanese Xbox Live Silver Membership using these instructions
2- Log into that account and go to the marketplace
3- Go into the game demos section
4- Select Chromehounds and download the demo. It'll all seem pretty Japanese up to this point, don't worry.
5- When the download is done, go try it out – it should be a regular English demo.
To be honest, since the demo is all in English I don't know why it isnt available on the American marketplace. I'm sure it will be up there there soon, but if you want to try out the demo, give this a shot.
One more thing, when you download chromehounds, check out the Zegapain demo – it's all in Japanese, but it's seriously fun.

Tried the game and i can tell you it was awesome ! I even played it in Japanese and that didn’t gave me any problems. Really nice game.
