In 2011 Xbox Live Gold Members will have access to Hulu Plus. This new service will allow paritipants to send out mass messages all over the net, inviting Xbox friends to join them for screenings of their favorite shows and possibly movies.

The bad part about this is that PS3 fans will be getting Hulu Plus a lot sooner. However, the hulu plus that is coming to Playstation is supposedly a lot different from the XBox version which will be customized for the system, hence the wait.

The Hulu Plus service will require a monthly $10 fee. In exchange for this, at this time you will get 24/7 access to complete seasons of network television shows, like those that appear on ABC. There are no cable shows and presently no movies available on Hulu. At the moment Hulu is free, but does not include full seasons of most shows. This will change once the pay service begins.

For those who do join Hulu via the PS3, they will have to be PS3 Plus subscribers to get the service during the trial period. Regular PS3 Network subscribers will eventually be able to get on Hulu as long as they are paying the monthly fee for Hulu. Xboxers will have to remain gold status to get their Hulu but their experience will be customized and allegedly premium as compared to the PS3.
