IGN got to take a look at an English build of the Japanese RPG Blue Dragon at GDC, and in their preview they clear up some of the details on the forthcoming US release. Details like: when is it coming? (August) and do I have to listen to a terrible English dub? (No, you can use the Japanese vocal track if you prefer.) They also got to hear (Final Fantasy creator/Blue Dragon director) Hironobu Sakaguchi's opinion on the slow sales of the 360 in Japan:
Though it might appear obvious that Sakaguchi would be upset about the limited install base of Xbox 360, he put a positive Spin on the sales of Blue Dragon. Though he wished the install base was larger, he explained that Final Fantasy originally only sold 350,000 copies but was the beginning of a great franchise. He has similar expectations for Blue Dragon which has enjoyed a fantastic attach rate in Japan.
