January's Xbox Review
Filed in archive Xbox by anthony on February 01, 2006

January certainly was a rough month, I think the best game that was released on the Xbox was 25 To Life...and I have no desire to ever even play a demo of that game. I recently got a chance to play Torino 2006, and it was absolutely terrible! The only other new Xbox game I tried this month was Samurai Shodown V. I've always been a big fan of the Samurai Shodown series, but I don't even want to describe what Samurai Shodown V was like because it will be too painful. I spent the majority of January playing Timesplitters 3: Future Perfect.
A while back, I can't remember when exactly; there was some talk about Microsoft abandoning the Xbox 1. It was just speculation, and received a generic
"that's just a rumor" response from Microsoft, but you've got to wonder; what the hell is Microsoft doing? They aren't getting 360 consoles out, nothing has come out for 360 recently, and only five or six crap titles came out for the original Xbox this month. I'm sure the first Xbox will continue to live on, but it looks like it is in the nursing home with a broken hip.
That's what I think.
