A very profound thinker by the name of RazorX once postulated the biggest reason the 360 can't sell in Japan is because the Japanese "can't fit it into their homes."

Whether Mr. RazorX is onto something or not is debatable, but there is no debating the fact that Japanese gamers want nothing to do with Microsoft's new console.

Check out the latest sales figures for last week in Japan:

Hardware:

PSP: 24,977 (310,253)
PS2: 23,383 (217,840)
DS: 10223 (351,802)
GBA: 5405 (52,337)
GBMicro: 2934 (32,588)
GC: 2025 (30,577)
Xbox360: 1288 (22,657)
GBA: 150 (1478)
Xbox: 84 (671)

Are you kidding me, 1,288 consoles sold in Japan last week. Do you realize how many Americans would kill (im not joking) for a 360! What's up with not even releasing the console in Australia, while the Japanese give away the 360 free when you sign up for broadband.

They say that 99 Nights will be the Japanese killer app, but I don't know if anything can save the console. It's kind of interesting that he Japanese really don't care about the graphics, notice the PS2 is still selling like crazy, and it's got the worst graphics out of any current gen system.

Well, that's my two cents.

Oh, and just a bonus fact, see on the map to the left? See that litle Hokkaido Pref? That's where Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata was born.
