Lost Planet Demo Hits The Marketplace

I've seen the name before, but I didn't know much about the game - so I decided to download the demo and see what's it's all about.
Lost Planet is a third person shooter, sort of like Armed and Dangerous but with less weapons and a lot of snow.
I don't know that much of the back story, but who cares? In the demo, you can choose from two different scenarios: The first one, you are dropped in the middle of a snowy area and you have to kill a bunch of stuff to get to the next level. Like I said, I have no idea what the plot is.
The second scenario, you are assaulting some sort of enemy stronghold. I'll be honest, I tried this mode for about 30 seconds before being blown to bits by a rocket. It really wasn't very fun.
I did however, thoroughly enjoy the first part of the demo. It was perhaps the most fun I've had with my Xbox 360 in a long time. Sure, the game has its flaws, you move pretty slowly, the combat felt repetitive, and there were lots of invisible walls, but none of these problems stopped me from having a great time playing the game.
It really made me wish that I spent more time playing Xbox 360.
If you haven't downloaded the demo from Live, I highly suggest that you check it out. But, if for some reason you either don't believe me that it's fun or just don't feel like waiting for the game to download...Why don't you check out this gameplay footage of Lost Planet from E3?
