Lord of The Rings

It was only a matter of time. Lord of the Rings is coming to the Xbox 360. Specifically, Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-earthlinks II. Electronic Arts will be shipping the title during the summer of 2006. This will be the first LOTR game that will be playable over Xbox Live.

If you don't remember the first Battle for Middle-Earth, it is a Real Time Strategy game based in the Lord of the Rings Universe. EA has announced that they have developed a console specific control scheme
.
I can't honestly say that I am that excited for this title, when was the last time a RTS game was really successful on a platform other than PC? Oh well, got to start somewhere, right?
