Master Chess on the Live Arcade

Ubisoft recently announced that they're bringing a version of their classic Chessmaster series to the Live Arcade. It will include the usual Live port graphical enhancements and a few cool new features like Vision camera support and a modern take on the old tradition of playing-by-mail: playing-by-Live-message.

"Bringing the Chessmaster series to Xbox Live Arcade makes the game accessible to a whole new audience," said Peter Helm, business development associate at Ubisoft. "Chessmaster LIVE is not only a comprehensive chess program, but it is also one that has expanded beyond the traditional game to include exciting features for fans, both old and new."

Sounds better than that other chess game on the Live Arcade, at least, but personally I'm still holding out for a port of Battle Chess 4000.
