Sorry, kids, but no matter how hard you wish for it just isn't going to happen: the official word from Konami is that there are no current plans to port metal gear solid 4 to the Xbox 360.
So, while it's still within the realm of theoretical possibility that MGS4 could eventually find its way to the 360, you're just going to have to get a PS3 if you want to play at launch.

As a 360 owner i can wait a year to play MGS4, wot with Alan wake, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Stranglehold, Halo 3, Fonza Motorsport…….

hollywooda: I agree, the 360 has legs of its own without MGS4. It would be nice to be able to just buy Metal Gear for the system I already have, though. Who knows when the PS3 will drop in price from “Insane” to “Reasonable.”

i’ve always owned a Playstation but now i have the 360 i’m loving it, playing online & being part of the Live comuunity has completely changed my gaming experience, so even if the PS3 was the same price as a 360 i still woudn’t be intrested. But i love MGS games so when Hideo has done a special 360 version with added content & a proper online element i’ll have that thankyou!!
