Microsoft Plans To Capitalize on PS3 Delay
Ballmer.

Before I start writing anything, let's just look at this picture.

Ballmer.

This was not photoshopped in any way, it is the real deal.

Anyway...Yesterday Sony held a press event where they announced that the PlayStation 3 is officially delayed until November. This gives Microsoft a full year head start on their competition...and they intend to take full advantage of this.

I'm not sure exactly what this means, or how they plan on doing it - but here's my advice to Microsoft. Bill Gates reads XboxSpace, so I'm speaking directly to him right now.

Bill, listen to me. If you want to stand any chance against the PS3, you need to get the Xbox into as many homes as possible right now. Drop the price, produce as many units as humanly possible - don't make the 360 an elitist item, give them away. The PS3 and Xbox 360 are fighting a war, they're very similar systems and people will likely have one or the other, get your console into people's homes now before it is too late.

I'll keep you posted on how Microsoft plans to capitalize on their lucky break. Hopefully we'll see some exciting stuff soon.
