Wish that you could recreate that magical experience of reinstalling Windows on your computer...on your coffee table? Lucky you -- last night Microsoft revealed a new product called Surface which replaces your tired old wooden tables with gigantic tablet PCs. Here's a video from Popular Mechanics showing the technology in action:
So, when should we expect this technology to make its way into our game consoles? It could be a while: the first Surface tables are going to cost around $10,000 a unit. If Sony is having trouble selling a $600 PlayStation I doubt that Microsoft could get away with a $10k Xbox.
