An article over at Xbox Circle is saying that Microsoft will not only be trying twice as hard to sell 360's in Japan…they're gonna go one better than that. Microsoft is going to triple their 360 support in Japan.
"Japanese gamers currently have a library of 25 Xbox 360 titles to choose from. By summer it's expected that number will rise to 40 titles and 80 by the end of the year. Microsoft also plans to add more content to the Xbox Live Marketplace."
As insane as it may be Microsoft seems really set on selling the 360 in Japan. Hey, it may even catch on eventually – cause it is, after all, about the games. One interesting fact worth noting is that despite the consoles awfully depressing launch, "Japan has the strongest amount of Marketplace downloads with 520,000 on just over 132,000 units."
So, let's recap here…in the upcoming months before the Revolution hits in November, Microsoft will be tripling their support, releasing the World Cup edition 360, and even (supposedly) relaunching the console.
Well, it can't hurt to try.

I will buy it. I hope that it is worth my money.
