GDC isn't the only big thing happening today – a couple highly anticipated titles are hitting stores too.
EA's The Godfather is in stores this morning as is Elder Scrolls Oblivion. I don't even need to go in detail about how hyped these games have been. Although there haven't been any official reviews of either of these two games, I expect they will both do pretty well.
I'll likely be getting copies of both later in the day, so I'll let you guys know what I think about them after I spend some time playing. I'll probably play The Godfather first just because I am so excited for Oblivion that I want to save that for last.
Here is an interesting, but somewhat unrelated fact – Did you know that The Godfather cost EA $800 million to make? Doesn't that sound absurd? I think so, but that's the word on the street right now. They're saying 10-20 million was put into development, but there is nothing about where the other 780 came from.
Hmm..
Anyway, GDC is also today so check back often as there will be a lot of news.
