Wow! WTF! To follow up yesterdays extremely weak Origami announcement. Well, it wasn't an announcement...just a stupid little message. Check the post below where I bitched about it.

Anyway, although Microsoft didn't release any official information a leak at Microsoft informed the Associated Press that the Origami is "not a portable version of Microsoft's Xbox videogame console" and that it will be "less powerful than full fledged PCs."

Okay, so we didn't really, really expect it to be all that but I admit, I did kind of have my hopes up. But, what about the halo image Microsoft imposed on the Origami? Well, the source also said that the Origami will not have "advanced entertainment capabilities." However, it will be capable of playing movies. So in essence, the system will not be powerful enough to run Halo.

Its kind of a bust, but let's wait and see what happens on 3.9.06 when Microsoft reveals more information about the Origami. I won't be holding my breath though.
