PS3 Artist Fired For Comparing PS3 to 360
Filed in archive Console Wars by anthony on February 6, 2006

Josh Robinson was just a regular guy, working as a 3D designer for Sony. One day he was inspired to write a review of the PS3's developmental process, and in the review he had some very negative things to say about Sony's forthcoming unit. He also compared the PS3 to the 360. Josh was fired today by Sony for his article which apparently was too critical of the PS3.

Aside from being sorry for Josh losing his job, which sucks; this definitely isn't the first story we've heard about the PS3 being difficult to program. Supposedly the 360 is easier than the PS3, but not by much. To round up the next gen systems, Nintendo has come forward to say that they think the Revolution is very easy to code for, and they are working with developers to make it easy to port games to the Revolution.

Maybe we're not ready for multicore processors and all sorts of crazy stuff, I'm kind of out of my element writing about that...But let me be honest about one thing here; I feel really bad for Josh, that's not right that he gets fired just for speaking his mind- I know he's out of a job, but if he's interested there is definitely space on this blog for another writer....just kidding, sorry Josh.
