Rock Band Guitar Revealed

Earlier this week in their email newsletter gamestop (the last place you usually go for your game news, I know) revealed a key piece of EA's Guitar-Hero-Slayer Rock Band -- their own guitar controller:



So it's basically a Guitar Hero controller. Not a big surprise, considering that Guitar Hero controllers will be compatible with Rock Band. There are some notable differences though, including a knob and a slider that will probably perform some in-game functions, and a set of five smaller, duplicate fret buttons near the base of the controller for intense solo-shredding.
