Speaking with Gamertag Radio, Shivering Isles game designer Bruce Nesmith said that the download-only expansion to Oblivion might not be so download-only after all:
"Eventually we will publish a complete version, a Game of the Year or special edition - I don't know what they'll actually decide to call it - of the game that will include a compilation of everything. And at that point you could have one DVD that has everything on it."Not the most elegant solution, sure, but good news for the Internet-less and for those who don't yet own Oblivion and have the patience to wait for this new edition -- after all, I doubt that they'd charge $90 (Oblivion is $60 at retail, and Shivering Isles will be a $30 download) for the combo-pack.
