Browsing through the latest selection of Tetris Evolution screenshots at Gamespy, I can't help but wondering, to myself, aloud, "Why isn't this a Live arcade game? Wait, and why am I talking to myself?"

While some questions are better left for group counseling, I think there's a strong argument to be made that Tetris Evolution has no excuse for being a $30 retail title. Of course, we all love Tetris, but why do we need a whole DVD of it? Nothing in these screenshots looks like it wouldn't fit into that cozy 50MB Live Arcade limit.
What do you think, readers? Would you be more likely to pick up a copy of Tetris Evolution if it was a $10 download?
