Activision have released more information about the next game in the Tiny Hawk franchise, Tony Hawk's Project 8. The new game features a raft of changes from previous incarnations, including a brand new game engine, full 3D body scans of included skaters, and motion-captured tricks.
Also included are a much wider range of gameplay options and goals, as well as the ability to place ramps and other objects directly into the game world to set up trick lines or access secret areas. Greater interactivity with the game world is also on offer, with an expansion of the 'impress the locals' section of earlier games. Pedestrians will also retaliate if skaters run into them!
Tony Hawk's Project 9 for Xbox and Xbox 360 is due in Fall.
