XBLA Last Wednesday: Tetris Splash

tetris addicts looking for their next fix will be more than happy to pony up the 800 MS Points for Tetris Splash on the Live Arcade. And then 50 MS Points each for all of the "fish packs" you can buy to add...fish(?) to the game. Okay, so maybe they'll skip the fish.

I love Tetris but Splash really doesn't do it for me. Neither the analog stick or the d-pad on the 360 controller feel precise enough really get into the game and I'm sort of tetrad-ed out from Tetris DS, anyway. If you don't have Tetris on another system (and web-based clones aren't quite enough for you) you could do worse than to drop the ten bucks for Tetris Splash, but I recommend everyone else try before you buy.
