The cold hard facts on today's Live Arcade release:
The addictive and original "Boom Boom Rocket" is the first music-rhythm game to appear on Xbox Live Arcade. Players trigger rockets to the beat of the music while traveling through a 3D cityscape. The better the player times the explosions, the more spectacular the fireworks effect. The fireworks are choreographed to 10 original tracks created by Ian Livingstone, who recently scored "Batman Returns" and "Project Gotham Racing 2."I've been playing the demo and I'm pretty impressed -- though, as an ex-Dance-Dance-Revolutionary I must confess that those rising arrows do make me yearn for a dance pad. Ah, well, I suppose fingers need exercise too!

You can play it with the dance pad, but then you would not have the triggers to get the bonus points.

After playing for a bit longer I'm not so sure that I want a dance pad after all -- all the screen panning and flashing lights make me a little nauseous. Adding jumping around to the mix is probably a bad idea.
