This week's Live Arcade release is Undertow, an underwater Geometry Wars in which you control a member of a team of scuba-diving pirates and battle for control of (aptly named) control points. When you're defeated you pick one of your team's control points to respawn at and a unit type out of four options (ranging from a small, speedy diver to a large, missile-launching shuttle) and keep right on swimming and blasting. It's fast paced and frantic and probably a lot of fun but I'm pretty busy with mass effect at the moment. It might be worth buying once this crazy holiday gaming rush is over but for now you've probably got something better to play.
