XBLA Wednesday: Word Ball

In Switchball you take control of a heroic marble, rolling your way across floating stages, battling that ever-present menace: the wooden box. Think Monkey Ball without the monkeys. Or the bananas. It's pleasant enough to roll your marble around the colorful world of Switchball - pushing crates off the edges and bouncing off cloth sheets being the gameplay highlights - but I don't see myself paying $10 for the privilege.
Word Puzzle

What's missing from word-finder puzzles today, you ask? Well, you can't solve them with an Xbox 360 controller, for one thing. And what about a digital scoring system? Your newspaper can't do that! It's a good thing we now have Word Puzzle on the Live Arcade to fill this attention-starved genre. I guess. As a writer I'm contractually obligated to love words and even I am not excited by Word Puzzle. Save your ten bucks.
