The Xbox 360 Slimline has been a smashing success so far since release. Microsoft's Xbox Europe boss has revealed that sales of the Xbox 360, including the slim version of the console have grown by more than ten times compared to just last week. Expect those numbers to grow even higher when Microsoft releases their Halo Reach bundle. It will retail for $400 and includes a silver version of the Xbox 360 Slimline, two silver wireless controllers, a 250gb hard drive, and a brand new copy of Halo: Reach. Is it that much of a deal? The standard Xbox 360 slim comes with one wireless controller and a 250gb hard drive as well and retails for $300. Amazon is selling new wireless 360 controllers for $33.54, and is giving a $20 gaming coupon with the pre-order of Halo Reach. So other than the new paint job for the 360 and controllers it would be cheaper to buy this bundle piece by piece from Amazon. However, I bet that won't stop the bundle from putting up monster numbers.
